2007 Platotex Technology Company Ltd. is established in Hong Kong.
2010 Platotex sets up an office in Shanghai, China, to facilitate sourcing, buying, marketing and logistics of its rare metals business between trading partners around the world. Platotex successfully bridges local Chinese smelters with global demands of high purity rare metals, alloys and chemicals.
2013 Platotex sets up an office in Kampala, Uganda to initiate business of rare metal minerals from East African countries. Following successful sourcing of rare metal minerals out of East Africa, Platotex continues to develop trading partners in Rwanda, Ethiopia and Sierra Leone.
2015 Acordia Ltd. is established in Rwanda. Partnering with local miners, Platotex acts as the major shareholder and secures a reliable supply of Tin, Tungsten, Tantalum and Gold minerals (3TGs) from Rwanda. In the same year, Platotex joins iTSCi as full member.
2016 Acordia Trading PLC is established in Ethiopia to facilitate sourcing, logistics and exports of high content Tantalum concentrate.
2017 Platotex partners with Mitsubishi RtM to provide a reliable supply of tantalum concentrates to Japan and Europe.
Platotex is currently affiliated with business partners in Germany, The Americas, Japan, India, Ethiopia, Sierra Leone and Uganda.
